This is an absolutely fabulous antique gypsy starburst ring. It has a lovely solid tapered shank of buttery 18ct gold, and the gallery features a wonderful, sparkling old mine cut diamond framed in a starburst setting. I would estimate the diamond to be approxmately 0.35ct.
This exceptional antique ring derives from the late Victorian era, and remains in excellent condition. It is not hallmarked, probably due to a re-size, evidence of which is on the band, but has been tested for 18ct Gold. It is currently a UK size Q 1/2 (US size 8 1/4 and it weighs a heavy 5.70g. The widest point of the ring's face measures approximately 7mm and the thinnest part of the band, right at the back is 4mm.
This is a superb unisex ring, which would make a stunning sweetheart/enagement ring
Pleaes have a look at the pictures and the video, and dont hesitate to get in touch if you require any further information.
